In-Game Description
The Berger Group released this automatic turret on the market several decades ago, and it is still produced today. Although much more effective models are available, this weapon's affordable price and efficient design continue to be the decisive factors for its lasting success.
Notes
This turret only appears in shops after the player buys the Valkyrie add-on. This is the cheapest Automatic turret, making it useful for players who fly ships with both Primary weapons and turrets to quickly fill up their turret slot while still being able to use their main guns. This is the cheapest auto turret while having the fastest firing rate.
Trivia
- The Berger AGT 20mm is the only turret to shoot bullets that is not charged by energy (metal bullets).
- AGT could stand for Automatic Gun Turret.
- The gun barrel rotates when firing exactly like a M134 Minigun.
- The ammo belt on the sides actually also move into the turret as it fires, however, it does not have an animation that shows used bullet casings falling out from the side.
- 20mm caliber gatling gun like an M61 Vulcan, it is the only gatling turret and the only turret that has a stated ammo type.
