In-Game Description

The rusty but trusty Phantom is held in high regard by pilots from all over the universe. Hence, the Terran Forces have decided to build a follow-up model named the Phantom XT, which contains more room for primary weapons and equipment. However, space pilots who want to make use of these enhancements must be prepared to shell out a large sum of credits.

Characteristics

The Phantom XT is a leap forward from its predecessor, the standard Phantom. The four primary weapon brackets are well-suited to mounting powerful weapons, such as M6 A4 "Raccoons" or Dark Matter Lasers especially since this is a late-game ship. These weapon mounts are also put very close together, assisting accuracy. It is very maneuverable, and has strong armor, but with two shortcomings: It can only mount a single secondary weapon and cannot mount a turret and the Phantom XT can only be purchased at the Kaamo Club lounge.

Beacause of the number of primary weapons, equipment slots, and armour, this ship could easily be considered as an ultimate ship.

Notes

• The Phantom XT costs $14,860,000.

• Although the Berger CrossXT also has XT in its name, the 2 ships are not related in any way

Trivia

• The Phantom XT features an "anti-alien" logo on each wing tip, underside and front nose section of the ship.
• The Phantom XT has a mark under the cockpit, XT, symbolizing the proof of the ship.
• The XT also features a "rubber-like" connector on the top near the cockpit window.
