Characteristics

At the cost of some handling points, the Furious is a nice upgrade from the Hiro which keeps 2 secondary weapons. Also with the addition of an automatic turret, the Furious can fire 2 weapons simultaneously, giving it effectively 2 primary weapons.

If you want to maintain with a turret, you should upgrade to an Azov or Velasco.

It is also a good starter ship for mining due to its decent cargo hold.

• The cockpit section looks like an Icarus Scout Class II form GOF3D.
• It is a Starter Ship.
• The Furious has a cockpit that looks a lot like the Star Wars T-65 X-Wing fighter, a renowned starfighter from any science fiction universe.
• In the J2ME version of the game, this ship was called "Furious Flounder" due to its fish-like appearance.
