Characteristics

The Inflict is an excellent starter ship. Players should buy it as soon as they arrive on Alioth, though the player will have to move up to a better ship later on. 

Trivia

• The Inflict has a striking resemblance to the Hawk, a Terran ship available in Galaxy on Fire 3D. The Inflict may simply be a later version of the Hawk, like the Zephyr and Razor 6. No such relationship between them is mentioned in the game, however.
• The design of the Inflict, as well as that of the Hawk and the Phantom all appear to be a nod to the design of the Viper fighter from the Battlestar Galactica TV shows.
• This is the ship you first get on GoF2 Lite. This is also the starter ship when playing Valkyrie storyline.
• It is good ship to buy after the Betty.
• The nose, body and the canopy of the Inflict has a strong resemblance to the X-wing fighter of Star Wars.
• The Inflict is the Terran's MK I Fighter in Galaxy on Fire: Alliances.
