A commodity is a loot or resource picked up from drops or shops. They are primarily everything except ore, cores, weapons, and equipment, and can be bought and sold in various locations. Commodities are believed to respawn after an amount of time. In GOF1 they have no use.

Commodities are mainly used for manufacturing products in blueprints.
