Known Price Range -> 8,559$ (K'ontrr)
-> 12,517$ (Eanya)

In-Game Description

Buskat is the remnant of an imploded star and therefore extremely rare and expensive. The wives of various luxury obsessed dictators, known for their extravagance, often use it on special occasions as a spice or narcotic.

Uses

50t Buskat are required to buy the Kaamo Club from Mkkt Bkkt if you decide not to pay 1,59€ ($1.99) for it through the App Store.

Notes

  • It is believed that a trigger causes buskat to be rarer after saving Mkkt Bkkt, but it has been proven false.
  • Buskat is very hard to find in Galaxy on Fire 2. It appears randomly in space stations and in the possession of other pilots, but in rather small amounts. Merchants in space lounges also trade it, but they buy more and sell less. Buskat often appears at Sao Perula in the Loma system. One can also get buskat from defeating Most Wanted Criminals. The best way to find it is to go from planet to planet checking the hangar and space lounge for it. Believed to be found most commonly in Vossk territory, but is not confirmed.

Trivia

  • Buskat is apparently used as a spice or a narcotic but this is strange as it is a remnant of an imploded star which would most likely be composed of inorganic minerals, which would have no pharmacological effect. Additionally, compact stars tend to be composed of exotic matter, which would be incredibly dense! For example, White Dwarf Material tends to be about 200,000 times more dense, on average than material from earth. Neutron Stars are imploded stellar cores. There, gravity is so powerfully dominant that it has collapsed the electron shells of the atoms which made up the original star, and forced the electrons to fuse with the protons in the atomic nucleus (in a process known as Reverse Beta Decay), giving rise to a unique state of matter that is, essentially, a single, enormous atomic nucleus, composed almost entirely of Neutrons! This Neutronium is betwen 65 and 109 Trillion times the average density of material from Earth. If a collapsed star has more than about 2.1 times the mass of our sun, then the gravitational force will continue the collapse past Neutronium, and form a Black Hole. In all of these scenarios, harvesting any material directly from the imploded star would prove to be extremely difficult; and, in the case of the Black Hole, impossible.
  • Buskat looks similar to sand or dirt.
  • Although, it is more expensive than Implants and Organs, it is only Tech Level 4.
  • Buskat do not seems to have any use for blueprints, except for buying the Kaamo Club.
  • If one is lucky enough, they can find large quantities of Buskat in freighters or Terran Battlecruisers.
  • As stated in the description, it is the remnant of an imploded star, so most likely it came from the Ginoya system after the Supernova imploded, but it is found in the base game before the events of the Supernova in Ginoya.
  • Her Jaza is covered in orange haze, so it is theoretically possible a Supernova imploded in Her Jaza and unknown space travelers were able to collect it. It is also evident because Ginoya gains an orangish background after the events of the Supernova, as well Her Jaza is covered in orange haze.
  • In Spanish language word "buscar" means "to search", hence the name of the commodity.
