Kothar is the only planet in the Beidan System and the headquarters of Deep Science. It has a lone station in the orbit.

The station is the Deep Science Headquarters in the Valkyrie expansion pack. The side of the station is separated when Alice hits it with a beam weapon at the end of the storyline.

Other than Valkyrie Station the Kothar station is the only one not having a Space Lounge.
In GOF2 HD the station has numerous inscriptions like "A08" and "DEEP SCIENCE".
Even if you touch the destroyed right wing then activate the autopilot to go to the Station, you will still teleport inside.
This space is shrouded in a blue haze.
All of the asteroids there seem to be made of ice or to be frozen rocks unlike regular asteroids, similar to how Naneroh's asteroids which have lava flow inside of them due to the Supernova.
Alice’s attack detaches the left side, however visiting the station will see thee right side detached. This may be a glitch.
This station is sometimes called the "iStation", poking fun at its resemblance to Apple products with the white and overall sleek theme.
Kothar appears to have a visible interior from it’s exterior. If you look behind the docking entrance, you can see the hangar with landing pads inside.
Despite being a Terran station, Kothar does not bear the usual appearance of one, as it is technically independent and only affiliated with Deep Science, meaning:
- It is not subject to reputation-based docking bribes.
- It is not possible to access the list of most wanted criminals there.
