This is a freelance mission for Galaxy on Fire 2 and Galaxy on Fire 3D

Mission

This is a combat mission. A person in the space lounge or on the missions page will ask you to attack freighters in X system, as they are carrying illegal cargo. This mission involves going to X system, and attacking the freighters and the escort fighters. When the last freighter is destroyed, you will be awarded the credits. NOTE: Your reputation is heavily affected when you destroy freighters and fighters (Nivelian-Midorian, Terran-Vossk). This can be resolved by diplomats occasionally found in space lounges (Who can be bribed to balance out the reputation) There will be at least 6-12 escorts defending 2-3 freighters. One noteworthy thing is that, the mission provider and their intended targets will always be of opposing factions.

Tips and Tricks

This mission is required for the medal: Looter.

This mission is useful, because you get the credits for the mission and the cargo the freighters and fighters are carrying.

It is reccomended to have nukes or scatterguns as they deal high damage to freighters. Also, it is a good idea to free up some cargo space since it is very likely that the cargo that can be looted from the freighters are in large quantity and/or very valuable. 

A good cloak is also recommended, as you'll be able to avoid detection from the fighters that escorting the freighter. If you have the Valkarie Add-On, the Liberator can be used to remotely defeat the freighters and the fighters.

Remember, you do not need to kill all fighters, unless you want all their loot drops.
