Escort
Escort is a mission avalible in Galaxy on Fire 3D, Galaxy on Fire 2 and Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore.
Mission (GOF2)
You will find a person in the space lounge or on the missions page who asks you to escort a fleet of freighters. You will be timed approximately three minutes while you fly with them. As you fly, ships will try to attack you in ever increasing numbers until the time runs out.
Tips and Tricks
- This mission can be very time consuming, so don't do it if you're looking for something quick.
- Bring a repair beam, such as an Nirai SSP-M50 to repair damaged freighters.
- The enemies usually come in waves, so kill them all to end the mission and get your reward.
Mission (GOF3)
Escort in Gof3 is one of the contract missions regularly available to player, which your goal is protecting a "super" freighter accompanied by four "regular" freighters. As you fly, enemies will come in waves, with each wave consists of three regular ships attacking you and a single Kamikaze bomber heading straight for the "super" freighter. Keep the "super" freighter alive and destroy all bombers will end the mission (most of the time).
Like all other contract missions, there is chance that a Distress Call mission or Informer will appear just before the mission ends. The mission icon is a circle with three arrowheads, placed on the blue shield.
