Scatter guns were added to Galaxy on Fire 2 by the Valkyrie DLC Pack. They have low loading speeds, but their projectiles are very fast and have great range. When the projectiles are close to any ship, asteroid, or space junk, they will detonate in small explosions, making it good for junk removal missions and hostile ships that are near each other.
Scatter Guns act like real-life howitzers where it’s projectiles explode and deal heavy damage in a large radius, the detonation sounds of the projectiles share the same sound as space junk being destroyed. They are good weapons for players who are not good at aiming and can be used to hit a group of enemies from a distance.
