I decided to go take a look at the source code of the mainpage, and found pretty much all the code crammed in there. A bit messy, especially for admins if they want to do some coding.

My suggestion is that you put all the bits in templates. Create a template, put in one section of the mainpage in there, and do the same thing. You'll end up with a neat, seven-line source code. An example would be the Infinity Blade wiki mainpage.
