Better than you expect it would be, especially on extreme mode, where you have to be very accurate to actually hit a target. The giant purple ball thing of energy helps there. It's fast, fires quickly, and does a nice amount of damage in a dogfight, even during a few second strafe, something a raccoon cannot do.
