Personal prefferences, favorite weapons, ships... anything.

Hey thought I'd start something up, post up what you're flying and shooting with. I'm working towards the VoidX... only 3 medals to go. Does anyone have any tips on how to get my hull under 5%??? I've hit asteroids, had friendly fire wither me down until I have a healthbar about a millimeter long but I can't seem to get the medal. :/
