Sentry Guns are secondary weapons that act like static, weak ships. They will fire upon hostile entities within their range until it or they are destroyed, and can also be healed by repair beams.
Up to 3 deployed sentries can be active at any given moment, and they cannot be retrieved.
Trivia
- Trunt Harval is the only enemy and NPC to use Sentry Guns.
- Because sentry guns are not allied to any faction, destroying them will not affect your reputation.
- Like all allied NPC weapons, the player can be hit and damaged by their own Sentry Guns.
- All sentry guns will be tagged as Vossk entities[1], despite being always allied to the player.
- ↑ This error may be presumably caused by reusing properties from from the T'Suum, a Vossk Sentry Gun.
