Bryce Vantok is not only Hayley’s direct superior and squad leader in Nova Defense Services, but also an old comrade-in-arms of her grandfather Brent Snocom. Upon the latter’s death, he took the orphaned teenager under his wings. To this very day, she still sees him as her mentor and he watches over her as if she was his own daughter.
Due to the events of Act II, Vantok develops a spite against Khador, and would gladly see his demise. Ultimately Brent forgives Khador.
At the end of Act III (Rigant) Bryce Vantok resigns as commander of the Manticore, and leaves the job open to you, the player.
Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore
By the time of Galaxy on Fire 3: Manticore, Bryce experiences the loss of many pilots that worked for Nova Defense Services. And the lastest, greatest loss occured during "The Shattering" incident in the begining of the game Galaxy On Fire 3: Manticore, Act 1.
